Was part of the founding group for HopeBUILDERS in 2000.  Worked in industrial engineering and construction for 37 years; mostly oil & gas/LNG as a project manager. Retired in 2017, which has allowed more time to help grow HopeBUILDERS.  HopeBUILDERS is a KC-area non-profit that provides qualified older adults and persons with physical disabilities with accessibility modifications and critical home repairs in owner-occupied homes.  My current position of Operations Director helps connect available funding for qualified clients with interested and capable volunteers, as well as contractors to perform more significant repairs (mostly roofs, gutters and HVAC).
